It is used on any type of wound, such as superficial open wounds, household, chemical or solar burns, skin irritations from peeling, radiotherapy, etc. It is used on the face and body, as often as needed until complete healing. Suitable for infants, children and adults. - The aqueous Flamigel gel must be left on the wound until the gel breaks down (1 to 3 days, depending on the type of wound). - During the epithelial regeneration phase, apply a thin layer of Flamigel to protect the edges of the wound. - If necessary, cover the edges of the wound for greater protection with zinc paste, gauze cut to the dimensions of the wound or other suitable means.
Special precautions Side effects such as irritation or allergic reactions are very rare. Do not use Flamigel on the eyelids or in the eyes as an eye gel. If you do, rinse the eyes with plenty of water for at least 5 minutes.
In extensive exuding wounds, it is necessary to use another product instead of Flamigel, with a greater absorption capacity. In wounds with heavy contamination, supplementary treatment is required.
In some other wounds, other complementary treatment may be indicated.
