Modeled after nature:
The unique HiPP BIO Combiotic ^® . Natural lactic acid cultures, originally obtained from breast milk. Breast milk contains a large number of natural cultures, which may differ from each other.
Starch-free: HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic ^® Starch-free is ideally suited to the nutritional needs of your baby in the second stage of infancy. It contains only lactose, like first-year milks. This makes HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic ^® Starch-free milk easy to digest and easy to swallow.

Vitamins C and D: Contribute to the creation of a healthy immune system.
Vitamin E: Contributes to protection against oxidative stress.
Omega-3 (DHA, ALA): For the development of vision, brain and nerve cells. The positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 100mg of DHA.

You can replace any other follow-on milk with HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic® without starch. Switching to HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic ^® without starch may cause a change in stool consistency, as the galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) contained in HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic ^® without starch can result in soft stools, just like in breastfed babies.

Use:

• HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic ^® is easily digestible and does not contain starch. HiPP 2 BIO Combiotic ^® starch-free is ideally adapted to the nutritional needs of your baby in the second infancy.
• Following breastfeeding, when your baby is already receiving bottle feeding.
• Following any first-infant milk, as a follow-on milk.

Meal preparation
When preparing a baby milk meal, follow the instructions for use carefully. Improper preparation can cause health problems, e.g. due to the growth of unwanted microbes. For this reason, the food should be prepared before each meal and given immediately. Do not use leftover food. Clean the bottle, nipple and ring thoroughly. After taking the required amount of product from the package, close it tightly, store it in a dry place at room temperature, and consume within 3 weeks. Do not heat the food in the microwave (risk of overheating).

• Boil fresh drinking water and cool it to approximately 40°-50°C*.
• Pour the desired amount of water into the bottle (see table).
• Calculate the recommended amount of powder (see table). Fill the measuring cup loosely and remove any excess powder.
• Put the powder in the water.
• Close the bottle and shake it vigorously.
• Cool to serving temperature (approx. 37°C). Check the temperature.
  

* To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), do not use excessively hot water to prepare the food.

Consumption amount and dosage:
The amount of food consumed per bottle may vary from case to case. The recommended daily amounts are indicative values. Your baby does not need to be forced to empty the bottle.
Please only use the accompanying measuring cup! One measuring cup corresponds to 30 ml of water.

Babies need about 5 meals a day. For every meal of food or cream added, you should take away one bottle meal.

For your baby's nutrition:
It is ideal for your baby to be exclusively breastfed for the first six months. Like any follow-on milk, HiPP 2
BIO Combiotic ^® should not be used during the first six months as a substitute for breast milk, but mainly after six months, as an essential element of a mixed diet. Your baby's individual development needs may require the introduction of second-stage infant foods into his diet as part of a mixed diet earlier.

For the health of your baby's teeth:
Like breast milk, baby food also contains carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are an important part of your baby's diet. Frequent or constant contact of teeth with liquids containing carbohydrates can lead to tooth decay and therefore harmful health consequences. Do not let your child suck on a bottle all the time, and make sure that he starts drinking from a cup as early as possible.
